The beginning
Anyone who remembers their school days will surely remember that one person in the classroom who was always doodling in the margins of their books. I count myself among them.
Hello, my name is Tina, and together with my mom Edith I founded IMPIBAG.
2016 - 2018
2016 was not only the year I graduated from high school, it was also the year that something bigger came out of the doodles.
My mom and I had and still have one thing in common: we are two very ambitious and busy women who travel a lot and needed a design that could easily keep up with everyday life.
We were fed up with searching for our mobile phone in the depths of our handbag or finding our key on the other side of the door after slamming it shut behind us.
2019 - 2021
What we initially started as a casual, informal venture at events soon became something more. In 2019, I had the opportunity to present our passion project on the TV show "2 Minutes 2 Million." Shortly after, in 2020, I was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" at the University of Greenwich in London.
This was also reflected in our collections. We evolved, and our now popular Travel Collection was soon added to the IMPIBAG Classic.
We take your feedback very seriously and always try to implement it in the best possible way. In addition to the Classic design, there is now a Travel version with more card slots, a detachable case, and a reading glasses pocket on the back.
2022 - 2025
Flying success even in these years. And quite literally. The IMPIBAG was featured in the Austrian Airlines Onboard Journal and is available in Lufthansa's WorldShop at airports. While I was busy with university banking, my mother simultaneously secured a few collaborations. We were able to produce a special edition with Erste Bank , which was distributed at a women's financial event, as well as a special men's IMPIBAG in collaboration with the press .
2026 - ?
A revival of the men's edition? More functional designs? Or perhaps both?
Where IMPIBAG will develop in the coming years is still uncertain.
One thing is certain, however: Our mission to make everyday life easier is clear, and we are only at the beginning.
